What Our Colleagues Say

Jenny Williams

Jenny is a Customer Relationship Centre Team (CRC) Member, and has been with Wesleyan for two and a half years.

“After my daughter was born, I returned to work part-time with my previous employer. I was made redundant and after a period of time at home with my child I decided to return to work. The more I researched Wesleyan, the more I realised that this is a great company in which to build a career. Yes, I could be challenged here and offered plenty of opportunities, but I’d also be supported to work hours that suit my daughter’s childcare. I was really impressed by that.

“I was used to working in inbound call centre environments. At first, I’ll admit I found it a bit frustrating that I couldn’t take total ownership of cases and had to pass queries on. But, that’s all changed since the introduction of CRC. Now, I own cases through to a resolution. That’s really satisfying, and it’s brought a lot of variety and learning opportunities with it.

““Working at Wesleyan provides a very professional environment where we are able to offer a tailored service to our clients. The company has a very clear vision and is driven to achieving results. All staff are committed to delivering a quality service and individual needs and opinions are considered.

“In addition to all that, it’s just a great place to work. We have all kinds of benefits such as our bonus scheme, flexible working, Elite club and a generous holiday package. The actual building and location are very attractive too. But, perhaps the best thing is working in such a friendly team.”

Phil Bowler

Phil is a Midlands Area Manager for the Hospital Doctors team and has been with Wesleyan for 15 years.

“When I joined Wesleyan, I went straight into a management role. It made me the youngest Area Manager in the company at that time. I think that says a lot about the culture here -  regardless of my age, I was trusted with a high level of responsibility, and encouraged and supported to make a success of it. It’s a very forward-thinking company. If there’s something that you want to do and it makes business sense, you’ll be given all the help that you need to make it happen.

“It’s also a friendly company. That’s something I remember thinking right from my early days here. There are strong values underpinning everything that we do, and we work well as a team. Of course, I’ve seen the company change over time and one thing that really strikes me today is how innovative we’ve become. We have state-of-the-art sales technology, superb training and there’s a renewed focus on providing the very highest levels of customer service. Which I think is why, even in these difficult economic times, we’re still stable. Actually, we have some really exciting plans for the future.

“My own plans? At the moment I’m studying for my Diploma in financial planning. I want to build a successful sales team and continue to develop my skills. I know I’ll have the opportunity to do all of that here at Wesleyan.”
