Trainee Manager
Our award winning Trainee Managers Programme trains people with very little or no pub experience to become a Licensed Retail manager of the future. We welcome people from all working backgrounds whether it's within the industry or not - all we insist upon is a passion and commitment to our business. As a company we employ single or couples for our Trainee Managers Programme.
Our unique trainee management programme begins with an intensive 15-week training period where you will be giving the skills and confidence to run a successful outlet.
You will work alongside other trainees through a combination of theoretical and practical training that is geared towards you getting your own pub and realising your full potential.
At the end of the 15 weeks you will have completed a number of nationally recognised qualifications including Foundation in Food Hygiene, Cellar Management, Health and Safety and First Aid as well as a number of company specific training courses.
Your practical training is completed within our training houses where you will work alongside a trainer manager who will coach you in all practical aspects of running an outlet, from cash and stocks to managing a team of staff!
After this fifteen week period you will either undertake relief's within our pub estate or carry out further training in order to grow your food skills further. During your time carrying out relief management you will gain confidence and experience by the day as well as a good knowledge of our different brands and trading formats. You will continue to have the support of our trainee team as well as regular reviews to continue your progress. After you have completed successful relief's you will then be able to apply for your first appointment.
To apply you don't need previous pub experience, all that we ask is that you are flexible with your location and have a car and current driving licence.
