With over 500 pubs, we operate a diverse portfolio of pubs and bars and have many different opportunities for pub and bar managers. We are looking for managers with great sales ideas as well as the ability to convert those sales into profit. As a company we employ both single managers and management couples.
For our Licensed Retail Managers we look for people with:
- A proven track record in running a pub business
- Experience of managing and developing a team
- A Personal Licence
- The ability to manage and understand your profit & loss account
- Good organisation & communications skills
- Great Customer focus
- High operational standards
Our customers have different needs and we look for managers with different skills & experiences to meet their needs.
We have some pubs that are at the heart of the community so customer interaction is very important. The customer interaction could include quiz nights, charity events or just generally making them feel welcome.
Some of our pubs deliver volume food sales and we would be looking for managers who have a experience of that in the past as well as fantastic organisational skills.
Some of our bars operate a chameleon style operation which could include a great lunch time trade and then transforming the evening into a party atmosphere & a venue of choice.
Some of our pubs and bars have hotel accommodation. The number of rooms can vary from 10 rooms to over 60 rooms dependant on the site. We don't have one style of site that offers accommodation and that is our strength, we can make every customers stay with us special, from the rooms themselves to the food we can provide we try to ensure that our guests feel that it is the next best place to home.
