One of the great things about Marston's Inns and Taverns is that we have a diverse portfolio of pubs which include large food-led pub restaurants, community pubs, town centre bars and pubs with hotel rooms. This diversity gives you the opportunity to move into different styles of pubs and bars at different stages of your career.</p> <p>All our Retail Staff start by completing our comprehensive Footprint Induction Programme and E-Learning courses; giving you a great starting point from which to develop at Marston s. We also have a number of development schemes within our business that cater for employees at all levels all the way up to Licensed Retail Management. You can find out more details about these below.</p> <p><b>Chef Development Programme</b></p> <p>Our brand new Chef Development Programme is designed to help every member of the kitchen team develop their skills.</p> <ul> <li>From kitchen entry level, right through to Head Chefs or anywhere in between the programme can help develop your knowledge and skills at all levels.</li> <li>A blend of onsite training, practical kitchen sessions and self-learning.</li> <li>Areas covered include health, safety and food hygiene, preparation skills, essential cooking processes and procedures, communication and cook line skills.</li> <li>3 Levels to the programme: Line Chef, 2nd Chef and Head Chef.</li> <li>High Street Reward Vouchers available upon completion.</li> </ul> <p><i>"I really enjoyed the practical sessions you learn so much more when you put new skills into practice"</i> Warren Churchill, Line Chef. From the bar to the floor; learn how to manage all aspects of a pub operation.</p> <ul> <li>3 individual levels to the programme: Keyholder, Keyholder Supervisor and Keyholder Assistant Manager. Programme provides a diverse range of development opportunities for our Licensed Retail Managers; giving you additional skills to help you and your business grow from strength to strength.
