Food Pub Manager Opportunity –
The Dapple Gray, Dovefields Retail Park, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire
The Dapple Gray is a £2 million brand new build pub owned and managed by Marston’s PLC and is due to open in December, 2010. The pub will be a 180 cover Marston’s 2 for 1 pub. The 2 for 1 offer applies to when two adults each order a main course, they are given the lower priced meal free of charge. The offer applies to all main courses, specials and Sunday roasts, all day, everyday.
The site is situated at the entrance of Dovefields Retail Park on the outskirts of Uttoxeter town centre fronting onto the inner ring road. The Retail Park contains a Tesco, Gym, Cinema and a multitude of national retailers (Argos / Focus DIY / Pets at Home etc) and the only food offering retailers are KFC and Frankie & Benny’s.
A three bedroom flat will be built above the pub providing manager accommodation.
Are you the right person for the job?
This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a new build project. As the Manager / Management Couple you will play an integral part in the decision making process including the setting up of the site, recruitment, selection and training of your team. Previous experience of managing the opening a new site or being involved in an investment project is essential.
We ask that you genuinely enjoy customer interaction, are passionate and knowledgeable about food and enjoy selling quality cask ales. In addition it’s about:
·Building trade and maximising profit through management of P&L
·Excellent stock control and managing key ratios in line with budget
·Recruiting, training and motivating a team
·Adhering to and delivering legal and company standards as well as;
·All the little touches that help you stand out from the rest
