As one the UK’s leading retail pub companies we have a number of exciting opportunities across our managed pub estate which totals over 500 Inns and Taverns. At the heart of this is our 2 for 1 and Milestone customer propositions which offer classic pub food in a family friendly environment.
The 2 for 1 format is typically high volume food led operations that offer an extensive menu and large specials board catering for a range of tastes and preferences. With full table service and two for the price of one on all main meals and specials, this truly represents a real value for money offering.
The Milestone format has three different concepts; a classic carvery, rotisserie and grill operation that all also offer an extensive pub restaurant menu to cater for the mainstream market. Serving high quality, warm and hearty food is what the Milestone format is all about and having a reputation for being just as good as home made is what brings our customers back time and time again.
Running one of our destination food pubs on either of these formats requires you to have previous experience of running a high volume food operation trading in excess of £10,000 per week, and as an experienced industry professional you should be passionate about the industry and channel this enthusiasm into which ever pub you run to.
All of our managers at the 2 for 1 and Milestone venues have the following skills which you will be expected to have:
· A Personal Licence
· Used to running a pub with 500+ covers
· Able to recruit, manage and develop a large team of staff (15+)
· P & L responsibility
· Previous Managed House experience
· Ideally have kitchen experience including how to manage a high volume food outlet
· Minimum of 2 years experience as a Licensed Retail Manager
