Due to our continuing expansion and development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a competent and hard working Administrator to join our small but busy team to ensure that all orders are delivered to our customers worldwide on time.
You will achieve this by progressing orders through to the warehouse and booking the transport, being constantly mindful of efficiency and cost. A proactive team player, you will enjoy working in a busy department and dealing with a wide variety of people both face to face and over the telephone. Using your excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, you will keep records of related activity on excel spreadsheets and carry out other administration duties.
We are looking for a friendly, professional and customer focussed Administrator with previous experience of working within a distribution environment. With excellent organisation and time management skills, you will be computer literate in Microsoft Office. This role requires real initiative coupled with a systematic approach to ensure that all work is completed within set guidelines. You will ideally be qualified to NVQ 2 or similar in a relevant subject and possess good working knowledge of a warehouse management system.
The working hours are 40 hours - Monday to Friday, however we run a flexi time system and due to the nature of this role some flexibility is required.
